Air Liquide offers a wide range of welding products and services now united under the Air Liquide Welding brand name. They represent 5% of the group's annual sales and range from all of the consumable products welders require (such as electrodes and flux-cored wire) to the most sophisticated welding equipment (such as welding sets and robots) and include the full range of associated services, such as maintenance and training.

Air Liquide's chemicals business includes two sectors: specialty surfactants and peracetic acids, derivative products from hydrogen peroxide. Peracetic acids, such as Dialox, are used for industrial and hospital disinfection.

The scuba diving market has been a strong source of growth for many years. Air Liquide's subsidiary Aqualung (which sells the Spirotechnique, Technisub, US Divers and Seaquest brands), offers a very large line of products and equipment for professional divers and diving enthusiasts.

Air Liquide is the main supplier of industrial gases and services to the European space program. Liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen are produced in French Guiana to meet the needs of the Ariane space project.

In addition to this, the Group also builds liquid oxygen and hydrogen tanks for the Ariane 4 rocket in France, and, in a joint-venture with Aérospatiale, those for the Ariane 5.
